Meek/Mill makes sense. Not the shitty rapper but a fight between two WW prospects.

If I'm match maker, this is the fight I make. Millender seems more crisp but Meek's conditioning and toughness is the kind that could potentially see him making a come from behind victory. Millender will look to make it a technical fight where Meek will look to make it a war of attrition.

    Curtis "Curtious" Millender
    Age: 30
    Height: 6' 3"
    Weight: 170
    Reach: 76"
    Record (W-L-D): 15-3-0

    Emil "Valhalla" Meek
    Age: 29
    Height: 5' 11"
    Weight: 170
    Reach: 74"
    Record: (W-L-D) 9-2-1, 1NC on UFC.com
    9-3-1, 1NC on Sherdog.com

    Question:
Do you like this match up and who you got winning the fight?

That guy is a WW's Jon Jones, body type and fighting stance reminded me of Jones a lot, great win against Alves.

Would rather see Millender fight someone else coming off a win as well.. Plus he just finished Alves

Meek still has some work to do imo I'd like to see him vs. Nordine Taleb or someone like that instead

The Meek will not inherit the earth only a loss against Millender too big, too strong, too skilled...

Did you make this thread just to name drop Meek Mill? Why even shorten Millenders name? You clearly had an agenda.

Meek needs an easier fight. Dude just took an L to a larger stronger opponent and you want to throw him in there with millender?

It won' happen but I'd like to see millender in there with usman. See how usman deals with being the smaller fighter

Millender’s grappling is still pretty underdeveloped. At this point in their careers I think Usman dominates him pretty soundly with his wrestling.

No, I actually like the fight and not Meek Mill but while I was making the thread I noticed that their names together sound like Meek Mill and I added it as a little side joke.

As for the fight, I think a lot of people are overlooking Meek a little bit based off of his last performance but it was a different type of fight where he got completely grounded on by a very elite wrestler. Unless Millender is has the type of wrestling that Usman does (and he doesn't) then Millender/Meek could be a very interesting style match up. Look at Meek's fight with Mein who I consider a very skilled fighter but Meek used his toughness and conditioning to pull through some tough spots and get the win.

Usman is not really bigger than Meek. Not even sure he's stronger, Just a better fighter & wrestler.

And just to clarify, Meek did show heart against Usman (it was obvious he needs to work on his wrestling game) but he needs to get back in the win column before fighting a guy on a 7 fight win streak like Millender

After that knee to Alves' face big Curtis should get a step up. I was impressed with how he utilized his reach and length like Jon Jones as other people are saying, and I think he should get a step up moving forward instead of a step back in Meek.

Millender took it to the BANK last night. Looked like a seasoned vet rather than an Octagon debut. He's gonna go places if he stays healthy.
