met the USMC Commandant at the PX today
he d'bo'd like three LTs that tried to come up and talk to him, he was checking out Valentines day cards hahah
Did he get anything at the pharmacy? If so what was it? Viagra?I met Gen. Wesley Clark when he came up my station at a medical facility. He was super chill.
My OIC (A Maj.) was scared $hitless. He was all like "Can YOU take care of him?!?!" I was like, "I got this, boss."

My dad went to King's Point, missed out on Annapolis by like 2 points on the entrance test.I met Gen. Wesley Clark when he came up my station at a medical facility. He was super chill.

An Admiral showed up when he was fully in the Navy to talk to all the new officers (this is like 1962 in San Diego) and he sees my dad at attention, they briefly chat (the "where are you from?" sorta shit) and then goes, "take a seat son" so my dad sits.
the Lts on either side of him stare at him in shock "You sat down? WITH AN ADMIRAL PRESENT?!"
"Well, he fucking told me to... does going to Annapolis make you all lose your ability to think for yourselves and just suck dick?"
I really wish my dad would tell me more about his time in as it seems like he was a unique guy, especially for a "Gold Bar" essentially but it was Vietnam, so I kinda get WHY he doesn't want to mentally go back there.
FUCKING FOUND MY FAVORITE CLIP:
"When the Judge said the Marines would be a superior alternative to jail, I shoulda just shut up and done my time"
Lol.When I first started dating my wife, my father-in-law asked me if that was how Marines really acted. I just laughed and walked away.
I’m going to be an E-7 in July for the Air Force. I’ll sew it on at my 11 year mark. They got me until I can retire with Chief Master Sgt (E-9) pay.
Congratulations!
Welcome to the SNCO fold!

No, confusing maroon and red is nothing like the pronunciation of tomato.
Airborne units wear maroon berets. It makes them feel special over us "legs."

You wanna be a Shirt!!??! Good on you brother! They wanted me to go T.I., but I was pharmacy through and through. You're a man and a half to go Shirt!
