by far the biggest and ONLY challenge for Ronda. Yeah, and of course Cyborg, but Ronda wants no part of her sadly :(

Cleary Miesha and Ronda are the two ,and ONLY, good fighters in the 135 division. No one can say anything else. Miesha lasted 3 rounds... all the others one dont even last 30 seconds... what a joke.

With a couple more wins I think Miesha will get another shot, and this time I don't think she will go for takedown. Thats what cost her their last fight. On the feet Miesha was was arguably winning. AND she is the only one to score a takedown on Ronda.

Miesha and Ronda are a in another league compared to the rest of the division.

I would love to see a third fight!
 
I'm not sure Miesha want a third fight. She said she has met her Everest in Ronda. She came prepared, hoping that Ronda will gases, and she discovered that Ronda's gas tank was larger than expected.

It's kinda like Cyborg/Coenen. Coenen was by far Cyborg's toughest opponant, was the only woman who fought her twice, lasting cumulated time of 6 or 7 rounds, but wasn't even close to win.

The only fight that makes sense now is Cyborg/Ronda.
 
Miesha is super hot. People who disagree are blind. She is a total babe.


But Miesha has a "Rich Franklin" problem. She is clearly better than everyone else at 135 except for Ronda. It doesn't look like she can beat Ronda, so she's kind of stuck in limbo.

Plus Ronda is hotter, and has a real not fake personality.
 
well she did last longest by not being a complete idiot about it and charging into a human shredder that ronda is.
 
Meisha will get third fight for sure. Considering how shallow the division is.
 
Her chance to win was at ufc 168, she had the skills, but she fought stupid. She will fight stupid again if they ever have a third fight and she will lose.

Ronda is a solid 4. Miesha is a solid 8. Personality-wise, Ronda is revolting. Miesha is sweet and sexy.

The only place Ronda > Miesha is in the cage.
 
Miesha is definitely the only person who can compete with Ronda. I don't believe that Rousey is beatable, but Miesha is the only 135lb fighter out there who can hang with her. In two fights, she did very well considering how great Ronda is. The first fight, she went 4 mins and escaped a fully extended arm bar. That was the fight that sent women's MMA into something that could be in the UFC. Then she dragged Ronda into the third, did OK in the boxing and with TDs, escaped another arm bar.

Is Rousey far and away the best? Yes.
Does Miesha have the combination of style and durability to compete with her in a way that others can't? Yes.
Would a trilogy fight sell? Not as greatly as the first two, but yes. More than Bethe. Fans love Miesha Tate. She has star power and an 'it' factor.

Why would she want to blow the only chance she has left of ever being champion by rushing to the title when she still has room to improve, and she may be able to bank on ronda taking a lot of time off with movies, OR she could just come back for a a sure loss and a fight that doesn't even sell well because hardly anyone wants to see it?

Agreed. Ronda is a bully. Look how she goes out of her way to pick on the ring girls. She even called models 'whores' at one point. Then look how she was with Miesha on TUF. Insecurity, translates into bullying.

Miesha seems like a nice person and a functioning adult.

Ronda owns Miesha standing and on the ground. She was surviving not winning. She got a few strikes in, a few kicks while on her back and a couple of jabs. She arguably lost to liz. She had a boring ass fight with nikai whose about a foot shorter where she demonstrated nothing spectacular and had a boring fight with mcmann. Id like to see a third fight just to see ronda redeem herself by finishing her in the first.

Money -> Let me think that fighters don't do their thing only for money (Okay maybe I'm naive). And Miesha-Ronda 3 isn't something UFC wants. I can be wrong but it wouldn't be a good storytelling so it wouldn't sell a lot of PPV.

Chance of title -> Miesha has virtually nothing for Ronda.

In an analysis of costs-benefits, I think it's not worth it for Miesha.
 
If Ronda were going to immediately be thrown into another fight this would be the one that would be the most exciting to me, but with the layoff for her movie a lot could happen. This is a good chance for some of the other women to build their names and improve before matching up with Rousey.
