Therefore i think michael will find away to avoid this fight either by faking an injury or retiring early

If he does, he has to be stripped definitly. It will be one of the most satisfying moments to see this bitch getting KNOCK THE FOOK OUT.

Its a way better fight for Mike than Yoel.

Its going to be a pure kickboxing match and even though I think Robert is better everywhere, Mikes best chances are in a fight like this.

There's as much of a chance of Bisping showing up to fight Whittaker as there is of me showing up to fight Whittaker.

So, 50/50 at best I guess.

How many times will people say a fighter stands literally no chance before they realize how stupid they sound?

I've NEVER been a fan of Bisping but I know for sure he's no punk, he'll show up and fight regardless of who they put in front of him.

And honestly I give him a good chance of winning. I'm not 100% sold on Whitaker, although he's looked better and better each time. I don't think this is the one-sided beat down people think it's going to be.

Whittaker looked terrible in his last fight. It might have been from the knee injury, but my god, a championship fighter that gasses in the third is in no way a favourite over Bisping.

It's an extremely tough match up for Bisping. I actually think he had a better chance of beating Romero. Bisping has cardio for days and is a high volume striker. He could've potentially weathered the Yoel storm and won a decision. Not saying I favored Bisping over Romero though. But man, Whitaker is an animal. He's every bit as tough as Bisping, has great cardio, incredible focus and determination, dangerous striking, and one hell of a chin. I really just don't see any outcome that involves Bisping winning. I think Whitaker wins the belt and holds onto it for a while. I'd like to see him fight Weidman, Rockhold, Romero (again), and Jacare. I would favor him in every fight. I was super impressed with the way he stayed laser focused in the Yoel fight despite clearly having an injured knee. He showed a ton of heart and grit.

What? He injured his knee early in the fight and still beat Yoel Romero! How could you not be impressed by that? Dude is as tough as they come. He's just one of those fighters who doesn't look like a world beater in any one particular area, but his overall game, fight IQ, heart and focus are just too much for guys.

If the knee injury led to the lackluster fight, sure, that is a valid excuse. Whittaker has had a great run, and I like the guy (it is impossible not to), but if he can't do 5 rounds, this is going to be a long night for him. Bisping is not Romero. He doesn't fight slow for 3 rounds to conserve energy, And then still gasses And fights even slower in the last two. Bisping will go full speed for 5 rds.
