Just rewatched it now and initially I thought the fight was a draw. But what I saw this time is that Nate only clearly won round 3. Conor clearly won 1 & 4 plus you have to give him the 3rd because he was dominant for 4 minutes and scored 2 knock downs. The fifth round was possibly a 10-10, they both scored a TD which both were useless and landed same amount of strikes. IMO Nate won only 1 round, but even if you give him the fifth there's no way he won that fight or even fought to a draw.

Could easily have been a UD win for Conor.
And people talk about Conor's first and second round that were dominant but after seeing the fight again I think round 4 was maybe Conor's best even if he didn't score any knock down in that one. Had he put some more pressure in the fourth he could have finished the fight in that one I think.

49-47 Diaz.

Anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't understand how to analyze and/or judge fights correctly.

It was a close fight that McG slightly edged out. 48-47

TF is that ? 49-47 ? So that's what you mean I guess
R1 Conor 10-9
R2 Diaz 10-9
R3 Diaz 10-9
R4 10-10
R5 Diaz 10-9

Well there's absolutely no way Diaz won the second.

Round 2 was 10-10 and round 4 was 10-9 Diaz.

Havn't rewatched it yet, had it 3 round to 2 for Mcgregor even though I was hoping Diaz would smoke him, I thought a draw was maybe possible as well, and the best result Diaz could've hoped for.

Connor turned nates face into a beetroot and made him panic clinch. The only thing in nate's favor is his iron chin.

Conor was winning every second of the fight. At no point was he losing to Nate at UFC 202. He was ahead all 25 minutes. From opening bell to final bell.

Conor was winning every single round for most of each round. He won rounds 1, 2, and 4 from start to finish. He was winning round 3 for 60% of it. He was winning round 5 for 90% of it.

Looks like total domination to me.

Close decision victory is meaningless. A finish is much more impressive

Anyone who scored round 2 to Diaz is a retarded turd. He got dropped twice in that round, Conor never came close to being dropped, Diaz had a good last minute (but again never came close to a knockdown) Conor totally dominated the majorit of that round.

I can't see how Diaz won.

All we know is that in a life or death situation Diaz could kill Conor, Conor can't kill Diaz. That's what I tell myself to help me sleep at night as a Diaz fan in that rivalry of fights.

I wanted Nate to beat that ass again but he started crazy slow. In the end I had it 3-2 Conor sadly.
