McCain: GOP will fight any Hillary SCOTUS nomination.

In a Monday interview, the senator from Arizona said that Republican nominee Donald Trump is not necessarily a better candidate than Hillary Clinton when it comes to appointing Supreme Court justices, promising that Republicans wouldn’t approve any Clinton nominee to the Supreme Court.

“I promise you that we will be united against any Supreme Court nominee that Hillary Clinton, if she were president, would put up,” McCain told WPHT in Philadelphia. “I promise you. This is where we need the majority.”

Republicans would not consider President Obama's nominee because they believed the voters should have a say in the matter by electing the next president. I thought it was wrong, but they have the majority and there wasn't much that could be done.

Now that their nominee's chances don't look so good they are retracting that earlier statement and declaring open opposition by the democratic nominee.

2. Declared they wouldn't even meet with ANY Obama Supreme Court nominee
3. Refused to hold hearings on Obama's budget, declaring as much before it was even revealed.
4. Took almost a year to take action on nominee to Treasure Dept. terrorism section (Rich Shelby didn't want to appoint Obama's nominee during his primary).
5. Overturn veto of Saudi 9/11 bill (and then proceeded to somehow blame him for their overturning the veto once they had buyer's remorse)

Never mind constant threats to repeal the ACA once a GOP nominee wins the Presidential election (HA!)

Wow...you conveniently left out how Democrats ALSO rejected these same issues you blame republicans for

Gitmo was rejected 91-3, The Saudi bill was rejected 97-1, and the reason why his SC pick was held up is because Obama wanted to use it to grant amnesty to illegals another notion the large majority of the senate disagreed with (54/46 Republicans BTW)

If you truly believe that Republicans are these super evil villains while Democrats are the superheroes of America, you are a fool. The DNC has done more against their own party this year than the Republicans the last 10 years.

Nope, they'd rather have 4 years of deadlock (possibly more if the GOP doesn't get it's shit together until 2020 and loses again).

Tbh the most likely scenario at this point is Hillary wins, Dems take control of the Senate, Republicans try to filibuster the nomination, fail, and spend the next few decades panicking about any matter involving gun control, abortion, gay rights etc etc that reaches the Supreme Court.
