    So true. Low-no carbs and in 2 weeks 12 lbs and the belly is gone.

    i switched to the ketogenic diet about 6 weeks ago and lost big just cutting out grains and sugars. its a pretty easy diet. well its more of a lifestyle change. this added to an already pretty active gym routine has worked well for me.

    Weight cutting was going great. Now I had three teeth removed two wisdom teeth and the very back molar that keeps getting infected. I'm on a liquid diet for two days and I don't even want to get on the scale. I know it's going to be way lower then I want. Hopefully I can put some of it back on before my trip to Jamaica first week of June. Also no gym time for a week and then go light for seven days. I was like WTF!. Then on vacation I'm not going to work out either obviously so yea kind of pissed.

    ive actually been doing only meats and healthy fats the last 2 weeks (primarily 3-4 protein shakes a day over the last 4 days and very minimal food if any. lots of hydration) . For the last few years i've been around 250-260. ive never had a gut, just linebacker sized. lol. im a sliver under 6ft4 so i carry it fine. now im in the 240s and the weight just started dropping once i cut out grains and any sugar.

    Controling weight is no biggie for me because it's already in the lifestyle.

    lift regularly and heavy
    food prep
    control carbs, sugar and fat
    little to no drinking
    7+ hours of sleep

    I dont count calories, just plus/minus carbs based on what energy level I need for each particular day.

    5'9 290. My Wilkes is shit, but I don't compete. I just wanna be old manlet strong.

    Real talk though, I'm starting my prowler routines now that the weather is good. I can't be bothered with running.
