Matt Hume was training MMA before the UFC even started. Before anyone knew what MMA was, he was training it.

He legit trained the greatest most complete fighter of all time DJ. Turned him into what he is today.

If I'm a young up and coming fighter, I go train with Matt Hume as long I know I'm getting the same attention DJ has gotten throughout his career. These big camps with soooo many guys, they usually don't get that one on one coaching as much. Too many guys to Train.

I'm going to Matt Hume if I'm a young up in comer.

Not throughout his career, but he has trained Rich Franklin as well. I believe Matt Brown at one point too. Mach Sakurai also.

How is he underrated when Rogan slobs his knob for every promo before a DJ fight?

He does not get much discussion outside of Rogan who talks about him sometimes.
He definitely is an elite coach who doesn't get as much shine as other, but I think he likes a low profile.

That team isn't big on marketing and self promotion like a lot of others are
And Hume has more obligations beyond coaching, like he works for OneFC so I think his stable is mostly local

Maybe if he had more fighters he would get more recognition.. they only talk about him when DJ fights, but they always say he is one of the best. I've never heard anything bad about him - always that he was among the elite.

Whether people consider DJ the GOAT or not, he’s definitely the most complete fighter. He’s just that good at everything.

He surely is a good coach. But if you only got 1 great fighter, most of the times it's the fighter who is truely great and not the coach.

That's true he definitely flying under the radar, however his longevity is a reflection of his skills as a coach, I am surprised more fighter don't make their way to Washington to train with him.

It's almost like you quoted Rogan's sentiments from every MM title fight, word for word....
