Hyams managed to get good performances out of both Dolph and Van Damme in Regeneration, but also managed to get some of the worst performances I've seen from some other legitimate actors in the cast. This Maniac Cop remake could either be lots of fun or completely unwatchable.

It's a cult classic bro, along with the likes of Child's Play, Candyman - that sorta era.

Can't believe you missed it.

I'd actually welcome a remake, it's just bizarre that NWR is doing it.

Childs play had huge mainstream success with chucky becoming a pop culture icon, Candyman had some box officre succes too.

I will put Manic Cop more alongside films like the Puppet Master series wich only hardcore horror fans know.
