Awesome post. It'll be interesting to see how the Shogun choo-choo deals with facts.
What "and"? It sort of punches a hole in the little argument that Shogun is the greatest LHW of all-time. Bones already owns that.

People seem to think Shogun's resume is unquestionably better. The facts present a different story.

Shogun by a mile, not even close IMO

Also post a credible ranking that had Couture even near top 10, and Forrest was top 10 #6

Shogun by far. Better question would be which was more impressive; Shogun's Pride run or Machida's UFC run from debut to winning the title. I think Shogun takes that as well.

Shogun's resume of being the PRIDE grand prix champ and UFC light heavyweight champ makes him a top 3 205lb of all time. Machida would be lucky to be in top 10

machidas resume is no comparison. when you compare the only thing that holds machidas to that level is his "win" vs rua.

Shogun's wins have a lower winning percentage than Machida's, and Sokoudjou by himself has a win over three of Shogun's best wins.

    Not at all.

Machida Win: Sokoudjou > Nog, Nakamura (Machida Win), and Arona

Machida Win: Ryan Bader > Rampage and Nog

Thiago is a better and higher ranked fighter than the likes of Diabate and Forrest. Where are you getting this idea that his resume is more impressive?

Those are just statistics that do not nescessarily reflect the quality of the wins.

Forrest was ranked higher then both of those two you listed when Shogun beat him, will post proof in my next post, was ranked higher then Thiago as well who has yet to beat someone relevant

Also you look way too much into statistics and your arguments are weak. Yes Soko got some fluke ko's doesn't make him a better win over much more proven fighters

    Here:

    Shogun win: Rampage>Machida

    Shogun win: Rampage>Henderson

    Shogun win: Nog>Evans

Looks like your boys best wins are running out
