Ya but he makes one good movie between every three horrible movies.

He's been doing a lot better lately, "The Visit" and "Split" were both pretty decent films that were received well. He could be due for another shit movie or maybe he turned things around and got his shit back together.

He back

What was Bruce Willis's weakness again? Was it large bodies of water like pools or just water in general? Either way, what a stupid weakness.

Also, did he have any other powers besides super strength?

Can't be hurt and able to speak Español, huh.

Meh, I've seen worse. At least he can now understand what those old spanish ladies, who are always on the bus, are saying.

Water in general. As he described it, if he drinks a glass of water too quickly, he chokes. He is very sensitive to it.

Water in general. As he described it, if he doesn't drink a glass of water slowly, then he chokes.

I just realized that Willis's weakness in Unbreakable is water. But in Signs it's water that defeats the aliens.

What the fuck is Night's deal with water?

I'd like to get excited for this, but The Happening permanently ruined M. Night Shyamalan for me. Swore I would never watch another one of his films, and I've stuck to my guns ever since.

Just a slight correction, he's not necessarily invulnerable. When his son almost shoots him & Dunn tells Glass about it, Glass says "I never said you couldn't be killed, I never said that."

He could just be highly resistant to damage, like The Beast

Like you never made a goddamn mistake, or twenty.

Yours just aren't up on the movie screen for everyone to see.

Shut up & go watch SPLIT!!!

He has a few running themes in some of his movies. There are also some through-lines in his work regarding color. Worth a google search if yer interested

M. Night Shyamalan Announces UNBREAKABLE and SPLIT Sequel Titled GLASS

unbreakable-2.jpg

After 17 years, M. Night Shyamalan is finally delivering a proper sequel to Unbreakable.

The writer-director announced the news Wednesday on Twitter after months of teasing a new script he's been writing. He revealed the film is called Glass, and that Bruce Willis (David Dunn) and Samuel L. Jackson (Mr. Glass) will return. Universal will release the film Jan. 18, 2019.

"It’s taken 17 years but I can finally answer the #1 question I get, 'Are you making a f#&@ing sequel to Unbreakable or what?' " he tweeted. "My new film is the sequel to #Unbreakable AND #Split. It was always my dream to have both films collide in this third film."

Unbreakable, which Shyamalan released in 2000 one year after skyrocketing to stardom with The Sixth Sense, deconstructed the superhero genre and remains one of his best-reguarded works.

Shyamalan is coming off a hot streak, with his latest movie, Split, earning more than $275 million worldwide on a $9 million budget. He has been tweeting progress on a Split follow-up for several months. His 2015 found-footage film The Visit was also a box-office hit and well-liked by critics.

[Warning: Spoilers for Split below]

Split starred James McAvoy as a kidnapper with multiple personalities and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, one of the young women who must fight to survive his capture.

With Split, Shyamalan pulled off perhaps his greatest twist yet.

A last-minute cameo from Willis revealed that Split is set in the same universe as Unbreakable. In January, Shyamalan revealed to Heat Vision that Split villain Kevin Wendle Crumb (McAvoy) was actually included in his first drafts of Unbreakable, but had to be cut out. He also revealed he was hoping to write and direct a third film that would characters from both films.

Shyamalan revealed Wednesday that both McAvoy and Taylor-Joy will return for Glass. Here's the logline Universal has released: "Following the conclusion of SPLIT, GLASS finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men."

He turned Avatar: The Last Airbender, one of the best animated series in the last decade and turned it int a steaming pile of shit. It was so bad, it almost seemed he ruined it on purpose.

Signs did freak me out though. I saw it at a midnight release when I was in middle school.

Devil was pretty good as well.

Signs is amazing.

I still can't bring myself to watch Airbender. I have no connection to the source material, but I just know bad when I smell it.

Watching Airbender, you have to wonder if he's slightly retarded. For some reason, he changed the pronunciation of several main character names as well as change the mechanics of the main antagonists' powers.

This isn't a book adaptation. It's a TV series. Why are you mispronouncing the names?
