I wasn't overly impressed with either of these films, and I think a crossover sequel sounds like it could be really bad.

Seriously tho. I absolutely loved it when I watched it. I didn't know he directed I either so I wasn't expecting that twist.

I guess It Comes at Night is probably my favorite but that's more of a thriller than a horror.

I never saw Unbreakable, but I really liked Split, and I like Willis and Jackson so I'll make sure to check it out.

    Looking forward to Glass.

Fuck, you'll never experience what i felt then. The moment the Unbreakable theme came on in SPLIT, i was getting goosebumps.

Going the other direction won't be the same effect. But you still get the see the great ending.

What are the chances Glass will have a Bollywood style song-and-dance number? I'm all for that shit.

You know, to this day I still have not sat down and watched a Bollywood movie.

Well you said you never saw Apocalypse Now or A Clockwork Orange, that's a much more egregious error.

Finally watched Split last night which was really good. That plus this has me wanting to watch Unbreakable again. haven't seen it since the theater.

Very hopeful and I liked Unbreakable, but when an attempt is made to resurrect an old movie as a sequel I get cautious. Shamalamadingdong hasn’t exactly been hitting it out of the park.

When you watch, obviously try & imagine never having seen SPLIT. Also, try to keep in mind it being 17 years ago. Part of the impact of the ending of SPLIT, was having a huge subconscious buildup in people's minds over such a long period of time. M. Night has always said that whenever he goes anywhere, fans always ask him if he will ever make an Unbreakable sequel. The genius is that he slid it right under people's noses without them realizing that was what they were watching, until the ending.

Also? During that long period of time? That motherfucker burned every single hope pinned on him. He was joke ass city.
