I don't know much about him other than the fact that his daughter is Kathy Duva and that he owned a nice gym in NJ, but a lot of people seem sad and said he was great for the sport.

Supposedly he was a top trainer back then.





Kathy Duva has a big HBO card this week so there will probably be a tribute in HBO before the Stevens/Lemieux fight

I'll always remember when he and Mia St John where being interviewed for a pre fight and said sitting next to St John, "women belong in the kitchen not in the ring"

Good coach. His book is on Amazon. I was planning on picking it up eventually.
 
I have to be honest, I could never stand Lou Duva but he was a colorful personality who had a big impact behind the scenes.

He had an interesting a personality as Teddy Atlas. Pretty out there. But legend for sure. RIP
