Btw 78 and 86 14 men held versions of the HW world title until Tyson tidied things up with a spell of genuune greatness from '86. Tate, Berbick, Page, Tucker, Tubbs and Thomas would all have been favoured to beat Wilder imo. (sans crack of course).

Bombsqaud would wreck most , today's heavyweights hit harder

Aside from the fact that many of those fighters were incredibly inconsistent (cocaine playing a sizable role in that), a lot of them were very talented. I'd likely pick Tubbs, Witherspoon, Tucker, and perhaps even a few others on their best day over any active HW, not just Wilder. Not all of them were all that great, though, and they were massively inconsistent. If they had an off day, Wilder's power and hand speed could easily have them sleeping.

Could he beat a Calvin the tap dancer Brock or a Fast Eddie Chambers? HMMMMMMMMMMMM

Tucker and Witherspoon were the big stand outs that didnt make enough of thier careers while they were near the top

Just very good technical fighters who had enough power to stop people just rushing them

I also consider Buster Douglas part of this group, he had the same sort of tools and the same weaknesses

Ray Mercer as well...fuck...a lot of US talent threw it all away when they started to become known
