Lord Dillon Danis hits back at haters following his loss to Jake Shields

Didn't even know the "fight" had taken place.

If Marcelo Garcia, who is arguably one of the nicest people on earth, kicks you out of his school, that means you have some serious character flaws. If you hate DD now, I'm sure there is so much that happened behind closed doors that we don't even know about.

No question he's a great BJJ practitioner, but the way he's marketing himself is all wrong. He sees what works with Conor and he's trying to emulate the bad guy image.

The funny thing is that when I rolled/interacted with him during a drop-in a few years ago, he was actually pretty cool and humble/straightforward.

I think this Conor thing has corrupted him. Sort of like how Yoda tells Luke that once you walk down the path of the dark side...that it will forever dominated your destiny.

Or something like that.

you are your own enemy. You are complaining while he is relevant while making him relevant posting in a thread about him.
If someone makes a thread about Dillon Danis I lick my chops and tell the world what a douche I think he is, that he in unworthy of a thread in the heavies. My own enemy lol riiiight. If you are a Danis fan you are an even bigger douche than he is.

Dillon Danis has become the "Lord of the Flies" because he is a giant piece of shit, and his followers are hungry.

That is so lame compared to mma. Beat him in overtime rules who can escape the sub the fastest lol... Just lame. Like when chad mendes "beat" jeff glover lol smh....
The fact that glover, a specialist, couldnt sub mendes really says something. Idk if its about how good mendes is. Or how overrated sport bjj is

News flash, Dillon, quit trying to emulate Conor and maybe people would ease up

Copying his clothes, borrowing his belt, trying to talk and tweet like him doesn't help matters

He's probably a quiet kid in real life that's hung out with Conor too much and thinks acting cocky will be a road to success

It's really just corny

I highly doubt Conor sounded like this at anytime after the age of 13.

This dude does not have the gift of gab.

Can we discuss how he has the muscle tone of my grandpa (who is dead)?

"I'm humble in victory and defeat"

So he's just gonna plagiarize Conor verbatim now. I don't care that he's cocky or arrogant. What bothers me about him is that he just wants to 100% rip off his own friend's persona.

Conor borrows a lot of things from other sports figures, but at least he puts his own unique spin on most of his stuff. There is nothing more beta than blatantly copying your idol.

I doubt this guy actually has any "haters". People in general have no idea who the fuck he is.
Judging by his name most people probably thinks he's a transgender porn star, not that there's anything wrong with it. Dillon Danis - It just has that ring to it.

Unless one guy is submitted, then everything is a draw to me.

Then stop talking so much nonsense all the time, and people won't shove it down your throat when you lose.

I can see that. He's a young guy, too. He's still learning his way in life. I know that the way I acted in my early 20s is not how I act now. My actions and thoughts are totally different. It's all relative.

Part of being a public figure is that you really only get one shot at molding your persona. Once people view you in a certain light, that's it. You're branded. I just hate to see a very talented guy waste his prime years by shutting out his mentors and forgetting where he came from. Losing Marcelo (even temporarily) has a huge impact. Not only for his training, but his mindset.

Well he believed in himself to be the best...only to find out he can't even beat an over the hill Jake Shields...
