Media Looks like Rizin has not given up yet of Floyd-Tenshin

Expansion of his brand onto the asian market.

Being thrown about as "The Best Boxer In The World" over there means an uncanny amount of merchandise sales. Could have even been the plan to never fight, just for the same of the promo.
He’s known as the guy who either couldn’t understand an agreement or backed out of a fight. Not all pub is good pub.

Nah... Hes just turned a bunch of yellow balls bright blue, and they're gonna be mad for him to fight, not mad at him for not fighting.

Damage control. Floyd called them out on their ambush tactics, which means they lost face, and now they’re trying to make up for it. That’s huge in Asian culture.

Overall it's good for an organization to save face, whether Asian or not :)

Tenshin's reputation doing just fine. His highlight reel views on youtube multiplied by 5 over last week. Most of all the comments are something like...

No offense but I think your anti rizin bias is showing itself here...floyd looks very bad here whichever way you look at it. He was either :

A) in cahoots with Rizin on an elaborate attention-seeking charade (including him pulling out). Mutually beneficial, Floyd gets paid handsomely for a press conference, Rizin and their golden boy get international attention, after all they never had the cash to pay for a Mayweather fight.

Or

B) Rzin and that other Brett guy "blindsided him" and YET he showed up to a press conference for a supposedly 'behind closed doors' boxing exhibition, confirmed that the fight would go ahead, and posed with MMA gloves and made multiple instagram posts hyping the ''private" BOXING match.

Or

C) he agreed to a fight, pulled out (for some reason) and then spouted bullshit which CAN'T be true on social media.

Unless Floyd and his team are completely stupid, it's (A).

Nobody in the western world had any idea that "Rizin" was a thing, let alone that Tenshin was someone to check out.

They made global headlines in every major media outlet. Think of the value of that type of immediate, massive exposure in parts of the world they weren't previously reaching.

Floyd got paid a handsome sum of money to do a PR stunt, and we all know he likes seeing his name in the news.

Nothing to see here.

I'm inclined to agree with this.

Funny how assuming something means its true, we have no prove one way or the other as we werent part of the meeting. They might have just agreed to do it for promotion as for Rizin it would be a good way to get their name out there and Floyd is in the headlines, but again we dont know.

Are you....assuming something you don't know? :)

Value of a fraud org with some irrelevant Japanese guy who will never fight Floyd....

Prior to this week nobody - literally nobody - was talking about this Japanese fighter. It wasn't that he was irrelevant, much worse, completely unknown.

Same goes for Rizin regarding the west. Not ignored, just completely unheard of in the public conscious here.

This PR stunt got global headlines, and here you are, literally talking about this Japenese fellow and Rizin, when neither were taking up any space in your head or online activity prior.

I have no idea if they can capitalize on this PR stunt, but what we can confirm is it got a lot of attention.

Or, you’re letting elaborate internet conspiracies take over.
