Looks like DJ dodged the bullet Dillashaw doesn't want fight him anymore

The UFC treated him like shit on this one and he stood his ground. Dillashaw decided ultimately he'd pursue the TS he already earned at 135.

I don't get the hate so many fans showed towards DJ on this. The UFC was trying to bully him. All I can reason is that a lot of users here live a life of being told what to do, and get angry when others protest against that.

Maybe they should pay the man they call live on the mic "The p4p best fighter in the world" the money he wants and be cordial with him also. Rather than trying to bully a fighter into taking a fight you want. Seriously, I'm 100% sure if they paid him at least 1 mil guaranteed and Dana wasnt such a douche to him, he would've taken the fight. Fuck PPV points, PPVs atm arent doing amazing anyway. Bully tactics like what Dana did to DJ should never be respected. It seems a lot of people on here respect that, and it's disgusting. Dana is our goof and if he wasnt here we would miss him, but he can be a serious asshole to fighters that he cant bully.

Dillashaw was in camp for Garbrandt, he didn't want to waste camp so he challenged Demetrius Johnson. Johnson has ducked him since May. It's now June 27. His camp is completely fubar he might as well wait for Garbrandt.

Why pay him that when he doesn't bring eyeballs to the screen or butts in the seat? It doesn't matter if they claim he's the P4P #1, hardly anyone wants to watch him fight. It's been argued that he actually costs the UFC money because he loses base PPV sells. This isn't a team sport where you try to pick the best players to win a team championship, this is prize fighting and the UFC's brand of it. If he refuses a fight when he's already signed the contract then strip him of his title.

Conor has 4 of the top 5 PPVs in UFC history. DJ has the 2 bottom PPVs in the modern era, he loses base customers.
