Media Loma calls out Davis "guy who talks too much"

If Davis came into this trained and focused, it could be a great fight and one which would define his career.

Seems that is unlikely though, unfortunately.
 
Lomachenko would walk through this chump as long as he is using 2 arms again. If he fights one armed like his last two fights then I'd actually give Tank some chance (however small). A 2 armed Loma owns Tank and makes him look really ordinary.

Mikey doesn't want to fight Loma. He's always making bullshit excuses saying that Bob Arum wouldn't 'allow' it lol Loma has called Mikey out on a number of occasions. Mikey doesn't want that fight instead he's chasing a fight with Spence. Hopefully he does fight Loma at some point but it's not because Loma is ducking Mikey, that's BS.

I know Arum gets a bad rep for protecting his fighters but I think he feels differently about Loma. I think he'll let it go ahead.

I think he does want the fight. Garcia (and maybe Davis and Berchelt) are the only fights he can take that will really do anything for him. LW is a bit of wasteland in terms of names and talent.

As soon as Garcia gets his ass handed to him by Spence and comes back 2 weight classes, we'll make that fight happen!

he's called him out before this though. Loma can't control the fights Mikey pursues.
 
i believe he mentioned he wanted Garcia this year long before the Spence fight was made. Unfortunately shoulder surgery derailed those plans so we will have to wait.

Read the article. He clearly says that he would like to fight Garcia later on in the year. And yeah it's a good time to get your callout in while Garcia is fresh in peoples' minds. He's telling everyone not to forget about him as a Garcia opponent. I really don't get your unrelenting negativity towards Lomachenko, the guy's a class act.

He should have done like Garcia and wait for an injury and surgery before mentioning him, right? Then youd back him?

Loma has mentioned Garcia for what, 2 years now?

I think he wanted it before, as well. Lomachenko doesn't have much to choose from at 30 and 35 and he's unwilling to go 140 (which is fair, he'd be considerably outsized there). He's never seemed like one to back away from a challenge, and Arum recognizes that his popularity is limited without a marquee opponent.

Honestly, I'd like to see Berchelt, Mikey, Tank (down the line), and maybe the Commey/Chaniev winner as opponents for Loma. After that, you're right, 130-135 really isn't that strong. WHo is the Tajik guy again? He seems to have some talent, maybe he could challenge Loma in a few years.

Loma should stay the fuck away from 140. He might be able to beat Ramirez, but he's waaaay to small. A guy like Regis would end his career.

Lomanchenko doesn't counter punch. He only moves then hits rarely ever hitting then moving. Dude is a specialist at beating snipers. I wouldn't favour him against any really aggressive fighter that can punch. I think he is overrated and has a very amateurish style.

All a fighter has to do is put heaps of pressure on Loma without wasting punches. Loma wears himself out if he is kept under pressure.

The left uppercut is the punch to use against loma and Davis has an extremely dangerous one.
