Actually this is why American sucks at soccer. They think you can just put lebron James out there and dominate. Lebron can't even make it through a 48 minute game without a full body cramp. He would probably die if he had to play 90 plus minutes.

It's not a moot point, Saul was the only undefeated fighter in the competition. There shouldn't have been an American in the finale. Marcin was probably the most deserving to stand in for Saul. Hall was gifted the shot after not even getting through the quarters. If any American deserved the shot, it was Julian.

no. Erosa got smashed by Lobov. Would have been a predictable rematch and Erosa does not deserve another chance after getting absolutely destroyed.

America got dominated the whole season pretty much. Not that I care of course, I am British and was rooting for the Ryan kid regardless. Didn't realise there were still so many idiots knocking about who were so focused on nationality. Sad.

Hey, I'm a CHL holding daily gun totting American, too, man. I've just traveled too much and seen too much to truly believe that anybody is really that different when it comes down to it.

We have a lot of resources and take pride in success so we're good at stuff.

Agreed. There was no American that deserved the fight, that was part of my point. Marcin should have been given it in my opinion.

I think if Marcin had gone to decision with Saul he would have got the spot.

But since Marcin was smashed by Saul and finished you can justify Hall getting the spot because that fight went to decision.

And the fact that hall beat Lobov easily kind of validates the decision though of course the USA angle factored in too.

Yep you may be right. Even with the finish I think Marcin had more for Saul than Ryan did though. With the fact Marcin fought one more fight in the semi's swings it for me. Ryan got to jump the semi finals altogether.

The USA angle is understandable as well for entertainment, but undeserved in a sporting context.The original final was between 2 Europeans which TS was conveniently forgetting.
