Not including women's flyweight since hardly half of anyone can remember who the champ even is.

    HW: Fedor
    LHW: Jon Jones
    MW: Anderson Silva
    WW: GSP
    LW: BJ Penn???
    FW: Aldo
    BW: Cruz
    FLYW: Demetrious
    WFW: Cyborg
    WBW: Ronda
    WSW: Joanna

That’s because 155’s talent pool is a shark tank of the best fighters. Look at Gregor Gillespie, currently a nobody in the rankings. He could come in tomorrow and give Khabib a run for his money.

WW is stacked too but we had Matt Hughes and GSP.

I'd say LHW during Jones' run was also good

LW sits right at average height and weight for athletes. Talent is just too vast to NOT get knocked off the top of the mountain after a couple years by some random stud that comes out of the woodwork.

Tony Ferguson is the uncrowned champion of that division.

    23 wins 3 losses.

Currently on a 10 fight winning streak and wins over some of the best lightweights in the world.

penn is probably the closest since he had 3 title defenses. khabib and tony are right there tho if they keep winning. one of them is gonna lose soon

Yeah because somebody that's 26-0, on a 10 win streak in the UFC without losing a single round isn't a "solid, dominating fighter".

Methinks you put at least some of those question marks by the wrong name.

When there isn't a dominating fighter that means the division is deeper, not weaker.

Competition matters, he only fought 2 top 5 fighters thus far.

Climbing to the top and staying at the top are two whole other ball games.

Khabib didn't even beat a top 10 guy for his belt (not his fault but still), guys like GSP and Aldo beat number 1 contenders for years.
