Lightweight BJJ Gi

Can anyone recommend a lightweight gi?
And are there perks go having one? Like less prone to get choked?

Almost every company makes a light weight gi. You may want to try an Inverted Gear light pearl weave gi, 93 Brand Charlie, or Flow Kimonos air. Anything less than 450gsm will be pretty light.

Light gis usually do not provide any perks beyond being light in hot weather. They tend to stretch and usually have normal collars.
