I kind of agree since the arrival of Con to the scene because it looks to me that ,the average small-minded individual who can get suckered so easily, is ready for this rehearsed shows just like that fight with Floyd! So from a business stand point, it will work with the con fans pretty easily and for us true fans, I guess we'll just have to move on to new sport!

Its a fair point, UFC just got massively lucky with McGregor, what are the odds that the greatest personality in the game would also happen to be the most talented in the octagon? It will never happen again, you might one day get someone as skilled but lacks the personality or viceversa, got the personality but can't back it up.
 
Entropy is the thing that sets MMA apart from all other combat sports, regardless of whether sensitive snowflake fans want to admit it or not. Taking it away would make it a soulless pro-wrestling offshoot.

Yes. We do care. Because when anyone can beat anyone on any given night, it's all the more impressive when fighters are as dominant as Fedor, Jones, Silva, GSP, MM, and all the other greats. I don't want to see someone be successful because that's who the organization decided to push; I want to see someone successful because they earned it.
