Dude Ferguson will be LUCKY to not be walking on crouches in November/December let alone healthy enough to fight.
For the next 3 months his leg will be entirely immobilized. Then it's crouches and rehab. Then if everything goes well there will be a period of him just walking and that's it. Then he gets to begin practicing.
Really, it was that bad? I know guys are playing soccer 7-8 months after ACL tears and surgeries, but I know there are grades to these injuries and I haven't heard much about Tonys injury. I heard he tore his fibular collateral ligament, and I just assumed it's not as bad as the ACL (because the fibula is a minor bone), but I don't know shit about stuff like that.
