Al was taken down and controlled for a couple of minutes in round 2, but largely escaped damage. He worked his way back to his feet and outstruck Lee the final 2 minutes of the round.

In the third round Lee was able to take down Al, and control him for about 2 1/2-3 minutes to secure the only round that he "clearly" won.
