'DC coulda been a LW' is one of the funniest things I've ever read on Sherdog. This truly is the Special Olympics of online forums.

Yeah more people need to acknowledge this when talking about the best fighters. DC could have literally dominated any division from LW to HW. If he had started fighting young at slim and then built up his weight he could have been a 5 weight class champion. How can someone so little be virtually unbeatable at LHW/HW? Dude's a beast!
Lol, oh c'mon.

DC never competed below 210lbs as an adult.

He would NEVER be able to compete lower than MW, and 185 is still a stretch if you want him at optimal performance.

Lim is pretty damn big @ WW

and it depends how you define big, too

now that Struve has to cut to make HW, he's hard to overlook, here

Vick looks pretty thick and strong for a 6'3" LW
6,3" and light weight are two words that should never be put together lmao what kind of pussy mentalilty is that.

Not direct hate at you btw I just find that weak minded by him

I met James Vick in person and yes he is a big dude. Crazy he makes 155.

please no Corey Hill

please no Corey Hill

Tim and others have probably been heavier than Brock on fight night, without missing. WW is probably Rumble. FW and BW might be Roop. 6'1"...You can only be so lean.

roop has the stupidest look on his face at all times

Who's the biggest fighter in the history of each weight class?

HW: Lesnar maybe? He probably cut from over 280 pounds.

LHW: Maybe DC. According to Big John McCarthy he was 236lbs for Rumble 2.

MW: Maybe Rockhold. 6ft3in and definitely over 210lbs in the cage.

WW: Woodley probably. The dude is made of muscle.

LW: Wasn't Tibau nearly 200lbs in the cage back in the day as a LW?

FW: No clue. McGregor has to be up there, though.

BW: No clue.

FLW: Lineker or Borg?
Lhw- forest griffing and Bonner were HUGE!

For LHW, Ryan Bader deserves a mention. Dude was bricked as hell and could've easily fought at HW (we'll see how he does in the Bellator tourney)

Hell no. You have to know the difference between frame size and frame filled with muscle. The bigger guys are the ones who needs maintain their muscle mass low to be able to maintain weight. Heavily muscular guys could probably lose mass and cut to a lower division if they wanted to. Bader could probably lose a tons of muscle mass and make 185. jon jones would never be able to do that because he has no muscles to lose.

Define BIG.

Do u mean thick muscular guys, or shear size regardless of musculature

Brandon Thatch at WW was huge. Cut from 200. Walked around well over 200.

LOL you think he cut 45LBs? He was something like 187LB apparently

UFC 148 was having dinner with Pat Cote. Tibou can up and said " Hi"! To Pat. Standing beside one another it was unreal thinking Glieson fights at 155 and Pat at 185. Swear GT looked thicker and heavier than the MW. After Cote was saying he's seen Glieson cut from just under two hundred lbs. Would never have believed it if I hadn't seen it for myself. For sure I'd have to say he's the biggest LW out there.

Also think this is why he doesn't fight very often. Don't think his body could keep up to cutting that much a couple / three times a year.

HW - Lesnar, Carwin, Ubereem

LHW - DC, Rumble, Jones

MW - Romero, Luke, Jacare

WW - Woodley

LW - Khabib, Tibau

FW - Conor

BW - ?

FLY - Cejudo

It should be noted that Rumble fought at welterweight in the ufc at one point, so is he basically the biggest ufc welterweight ever? Haha
