This fight is easy work for Conor. Khabib moves forward aggressively and gets clipped hard. Panics and tries to set up his takedowns from range but gets picked apart and finished in the first.

If Conor was really avoiding Khabib he would have fought Tony. Instead he wants Khabib to win and knock off Tony who is a more dangerous fighter

Chad was on steroids and Conor had a fucked knee + took that fight on short notice. And Chad sets up his takedowns differently - he has one of the best double legs in the game. Khabib gets the takedown from the clinch usually.

Actually you could argue that khabib has a wider range of ways to take people dowb than Chad.

The problem with this, though, is that Conor has never avoided the clinch in any one of his twenty odd fights. Even Eddie got him to the cage once. Khabib is considerably better at cutting off the cage and tying his opponents up than Eddie. Conor will get put against the cage, where Khabib will likely slam him. In my eyes, it's an inevitability.

Eddie did that after being more or less KO'd in the 1st minute . He was out of it after that point you could've stopped the fight there

The first part is not exactly true. Khabib doesn't usually FINISH shots from afar but they are often used to start his chains. He consitently lands them and uses them to force opponents to the cage. His double is nothing special (he can convert them into slams which is nice) but he does have a good bit of success finishing those singles. And he has much better penetration than Eddie. Eddie gives up on shots are soon aa he gets a fair bit of resistance. He doesn't drive through them like Khabib and Chad do.

But naturally the real threat is in the clinch.
