Of course Khabib does have twice the grappling experience but professional MMA experience is almost the same. Both were born in the same year (1988), made their dubut in 2008, both beat the shit out of their opponents (Russian and Irish novices respectively) before their UFC debut, Conor debuted in 2013 with 14 fights and Khabib debuted in 2012 with 16 fights.
Overall experience is: Khabib with 26 fights and Conor 24 fights

Conor is 5-0 against top 10 fighters, Khabib is 0-0. Conor never dropped in rankings to be able to fight a Cerrone level fighter.

Conor fought for the title 3 times against Mendes,Aldo,Alvarez
Khabib fought for the title 1 time against Iaquinta

Add the fact that Conor has beaten more quality fighters than Khabib has.

So no.

Conor got strangled 3 times while Khabib remained undefeated.

Conor fans will argue about ranked fighters but rankings don't matter anyways.

Rankings don't matter, but being undefeated for 10 years, then losing to McGregor does.

I'd say RDA is Khabib's best win, and Aldo is Conor's.

One fact that nobody can deny, is that Conor beat two undisputed champions.

Khabib beat Oleg Bagov who's a multiple time Russian Combat Sambo champion, 3x Russian UWW Grappling champion, 2011 UWW World Grappling champion, 2013 World Combat Games gold medalist. He placed 3rd just this year alone at FIAS Russian Combat Sambo championships, all while he's an active MMA fighter with a high winstreak.

He beat Shahbulat Shamlaev, winner of the Bellator 2012 Featherweight Tournament, decorated in Sanda.

He beat Vadim Sandulsky, who's a multiple time Moldova Combat Sambo champ, decorated in Judo.

He beat Eldar Eldarov, his teammate and multiple time Russian Combat Sambo champ and World medalist. Now works as the national coach for MMA in Bahrain.

You literally cannot compare the athletes on the Russian MMA scene with the Irish-UK scenes. At least, the US has wrestling in highschool and college, Western Europe doesn't even have that. Those novices who get into MMA in Ireland and Britain are random BUMS who decided they want to fight as a hobby or they have a "shot" at it as a career because they saw it on TV and thought it was cool. In the US its about 50/50, but in Russia the vast majority of fighters getting into MMA have amateur credentials.

Khabib is undefeated and Conor has several losses to either gatekeepers or bums.

Khabib's style should beat Conor's.

But Conor has obviously been training his grappling so who knows?

Khabib lost to tibau.

First of all. Rogans commentary was really horrible on this one. While Khabib didn't get the takedown, he was by far the more active fighter and even landed the harder shots through out the fight.
And also: REMINDER: This was pre-USADA, Tibau was roided and held a 92% TDD stat at the time, highest in MMA.

Tbf rogans commentary is pretty horrendous and yes Tibau was a roided out freak.
