Hey guys, I have a grappling tournament coming up in April and I'm looking to lose weight. I'm not really a nutritional or dieting n00b. I understand the basic principles. But I've been having trouble dropping weight. I've started a regimen of carb cycling. I've never done it before, so any feedback on my diet and what I'm doing will be REALLY helpful, so I can tweak my diet. I'll weigh myself every saturday morning, to track my progress.
My Stats
Male, 21 Years Old
5'7
190 Pounds
If you want to know anything more, feel free to ask.
Since its still early in the day, I'll post yesterdays food log, which would be my 2nd day of carb cycling.
Breakfast- 4 eggs
Lunch - Salad, with turkey, cottage cheese, and carb free vinaigrette
Snack- Small handful of honey roasted peanuts.
Dinner- 2 steaks (didn't eat nearly all of it, badly undercooked)
Snack - Low cal, 1 carb mozzarella stick.
I wasn't as good about eating every 2-3 hours as I was the first day. But please any feedback will be nice. I will post what I ate today later tonight.
