Apparently, they both went to Grand Valley State University in Michigan.

Ferguson came back after graduation to spar with the newbies, and it was Kevin's first year there.



This cringefest is mostly initiated by Ferguson, it seems. Ferguson is always trying to 1-up the young guys, trying to be the big man on campus, but he ends up looking silly.

Not gonna help him anymore. Tony is a beast. He comes in shape to go 5 hard rounds in Mexico City, has an iron jaw, a relentless pace, and a ground game that's on a whole different level than Lee has. Props to lee for getting this fight but Ferg should walk through him.
 
Tony is the best LW in the world. Lee is talented, but Ferg has this.

Not gonna deny Tony is good, but Lee DEMOLISHED Chiesa on the ground and Chiesa's a solid blackbelt. As far as I know Ferguson is still a brown belt, so it may be really bad for Ferguson if it goes to the ground.
 
Tony should light him up on the feet and eventually force Lee to shoot on him. From there Lee is going to give his neck up.

Keep looking past Lee like everyone else. Being underestimated on a regular basis has helped in getting him where he is now.

Na his mouth has got him were he is now not his ability/legit wins.. First the business with Chiesa and then trash talk with Ferguson after that win.

Huh. Kevin Lee actually came off as somewhat charming and intelligent the first couple minutes. He's much more likeable when he's not playing a silly character.
 
Other than Tony himself Lee is most dangerous in Division. I favor Tony but won't count Lee out. Lee could knock him out or choke him out. I would certainly favor Lee over Khabib but Tony is dangerous standing and pace so give him edge there.
 
Conor ends up fighting in the new 160 pound division he creates when he gets back so why does this matter? Ferguson beats lee via TKO knee strikes then loses to Khabib in the unification belt and Conor retires 3 division champion.
 
Lee's wrestling is legit.

Haters try to bag on the kid by pointing out he got KOed by a BJJ guy, but it's not like Lee is from a striking base anyway, so so effin what if he got KOed by another non-striker? Especially a Nova Uniao guy.
