Kevin lee is proving alot of ppl wrong

Let's be honest, he has been getting shat on from the start but keeps racking up wins in some action pack fights. I mean look at his record. They might not be the biggest names but they are some tough fights he won. Chiesa, Trinaldo, Magomed, Jake Matthews... These are some savages. So we should hate him because he got KO'ed? In that case I guess Mark Hunts fanbase (me included) should hate his guts because he lost a couple fights? I watched that fight with Iaquinta live and remember being impressed by Lee despite him loosing. It was his UFC debut against a solid Al and he more then held his own even took Iaquinta's back if I remember correctly but the round ended. We have seen him get his ass handed to him in the first round and still come back to finish the fight, we can all agree that he has heart. He is consistently looking for the tough fights. Who else is actively trying to fight Khabib "blonde afro wig" Nurmagomedov.

Ok, he likes to talk and boast. He's confident, he is supposed to be no? You cannot be a fighter if you don't truly believe you are the best. Period. There is no room for self doubt here. That's why most fighters talk like they are the best thing since sliced bread because they have to have complete confidence in their ability.

All I hear is cringe cringe cringe but I would recommend some of you go back and watch each of his fights instead of focusing on interviews, press conferences and who is wearing what. At the end of the day we tend to forget but this is not a personality contest, this is the fight business. I like McGregor but it's not because of his wit and charisma (that's a bonus). I became a fan when he was a "nobody" and I saw the way he dismantled Marcus Brimage.

That being said, Tony Ferguson is a beast in the cage. If Lee can get past him sky is the limit. And he will continue to prove the naysayers wrong.

I am starting to like him, but that is a long list of nobodies

the top comp he fought was raging Al and he lost (a long time ago)

We'll see if he's the real deal soon enough. Tony is his toughest match by a long shot. They could have given him another top ten before tossing him in there with the #1 contender.

Yea Ferguson is a tall order. It will be a war tho, win loose or draw

My Pick History: Kevin Lee

Tapology let you access your own pick data now? I remember asking about it years ago but they wouldn't let me have it. Might have to start re-using it.

None of his wins have been impressive. The way he took cheisas back was not from a take down... Lee basically fell over himself and rolled on him.

I know he was dissapointed with how quickly the fight with Cheisa ended but I haven't seen anything that makes me think he has anything for the top guys besides a good wrestling game. I would be pleasantly surprised though if he proved me wrong

most people here are fat, Immature, Insecure beta types who don't train and dislike anyone with confidence In themselves.

you simply don't know how to watch / analyze fights then

give it a few more years

Lee will be ranked 10-6 for his career. Really good grappler with no striking and suspect chin doesn't win you a belt.

I would have liked to see him beat someone like Al Iaquinta before getting a shot at a belt. Barboza is much more deserving than Lee.

If a UFC fighter that finishes his last 4 fights does not impress you I'm not sure what else to say to you.

Tony gonna win but i want kevin lee to win to see the butthurtness of shertards. I scored the al fight as a draw and thats what the judges should've scored it as.

Barboza injured and rehabing n tony just choked him out. The al fight was close i had it a draw.

Yes sir. Lee looked good in that Iaquinta fight. If you really are a fight fan and you appreciate combat sports there is no way you do not respect Kevin Lee. You don't have to like him or his fashion taste but you will respect his skills.

Trinaldo was quieting on a very serious win streak. Beating Chiesa and Trinaldo back to back is a pretty big deal.

Tony is a huge step up in competition but no doubt Lee already proved he should be fighting top guys from now on.

Definitely. I respect everyone that steps inside the octagon and wish everyone else did to. Its crazy cause if you compare kevin's style in the Al fight to the style he had in the moontasri fight his evolving so quickly and his only 26. Definitely will give tony some trouble. All the other top LW's are booked/injured/retired so i dont get why assholes complain over lee getting the match. Nate is retired, Barboza injured, Khabib getting his body in order, Gaethje has eddie, Eddie has Gaethje, Poirier has Pettis. And the match makes sense Lee is active, strong, young and legit.

That's what i'm saying ! Chiesa is a nightmare on the ground and once Lee got top/back control he pretty much had his way with him.

Fair enough, but If you have never heard of Jake Matthews you must be a casual fight fan.
Jake Matthews has turned out to be a fairly mediocre fighter, at least in terms of the UFC. They were really hyping him up hard but he isn't all that impressive
