But he's turned guys down already not named Kamaru Usman. Guys take step downs for fighters gunning for them all the time. Colby was on the other side of the table when he got the Maia fight. Maia was coming off of a title fight and took a step back to fight Colby Covington. Is Colby exempt from doing the same? Why does he get a pass?

His 2 fights before Maia were DHK, and Vinny Barbarino. Barberena isn’t even ranked. And DHK couldn’t have been really highly ranked at the time either, most likely ( Currently 14 ). He has one really good win.

If he passed up this fight three times. That probably goes back in time to when he fought Barberena, or DHK.

how is it ducking when he has been begging to fight top 3 guys like RDA, woodley, maia, etc. He got maia and everyone said he was gonna get submitted in 1, now he wants woodley, so how the hell is he ducking by asking for woodley and turning down fights with a guy who isn't even top 10 in UFC only rankings, and 15-17 in most overall mma rankings lmfao
