Gaethje is #5, Poirier #6. Barboza just got destroyed, he's out for awhile. Eddie declined, Khabib vs Tony is happening, and Conor is obviously not going to fight him again. It's a fine matchup.

Awesome fight, but Gaethje is coming off a loss and Poirier is building steam towards a title shot. This is a step backwards for Dustin, he should be fighting Alvarez for #1 contender.

Great fight but it doesn't really make any sense at all tbh.

Sure it does: Justin's last win is against the guy that handed DP his last loss and Im guessing Eddie is probably tied up or sitting for a reason. Plus, Dustin loves guys that scrap and will yield a FOTN bonus. I also think Dustin sees something that he can exploit there and will get the interim or legit (?) TS if/when Kabob pulls or misses weight. Smart move, considering Khabib and Tony have been scheduled 3 times and have a 100% failure rate.
