There would be plenty of shame if Jones, in the middle of his prime, lost to a 40 year post-diverticulitis version of Brock Lesnar who has fought once in the last 5 years. Jones is clearly the best LHW of all time, and he won't be a particularly small HW when he moves up (in shape he'll weigh a similar amount to what many other of the greatest HWs of all time have weighed). More than that, considering the fact that Jones is among the best MMA wrestlers of all time for any weight class, he matches up very well with Lesnar. This is definitely a fight that Jones should win.

Lesnar has destroyed Herring, pummeled Mir, soundly beaten Couture and Hunt, and beat Carwin. Jones would be giving up 40+ pounds to him. It wouldn't be THAT embarrassing to give up so much size to a former champ and lose.
