JRE #947: Rogan, I'm not impressed with your condescendence

When i was like 16, I was all for "Exposing" people and coming at them with their own stupid rhetoric, but as I grow older (not much, but older nonetheless, all i can see in this video is that an old cook had the balls to go on a platform that inherently is set up to bamboozle him and appreciate that. Sure, he's full of fucking shit, but to sit down in a filmed session with a major audiance where you're essentially wearing a sign that says "Kick Me" is pretty brave and I give him way more credit than Joe.

Would love to see Joe sit at cardiology conference and explain how steroids haven't effected his little over-pumping heart and have it filmed to see whether he throws a tempertantrum or not.

He has something pretty important to say, as a lot of people are still "victimized" by the cult, and Joe mocked him for it.

For reference, a guy named Steven Greer was on Joe's podcast and was clearly bullshitting Joe and the rest of the world listening. Apparently, the movie Men In Black is real and aliens are already around us at all times.

For some reason Joe never once confronted Greer about bullshit, while Ron Miscavige, speaking the truth he knows, has to be subjected to what he was in.

To be fair Miscavige kinda acted kinda confrontational from the beginning on some of his answers to Joes simple questions , so I think Joe kinda ran with it and gave him a little back . He did end the interview kinda abruptly too. I think the whole thing is being overplayed a bit .

joe is condescending sometimes, but the guy went on to talk about his shithead son, i think asking about their relationship is fair game in that situation

Brutal but true.

I've noticed he's been a lot more arguementative in his podcast lately. I think dealing with all these flat earthers have put him on the offensive.

I also felt that Joe was a little out of line and the last part of the podcast was pretty rough to listen to. I like Joe and tend to agree with a lot he says, but sometimes he can take things a little too far.

I listened to this while working and didn't get the vibe that joe was shitting on him. Granted I wasn't paying full attention.
Recently Joe tried to Punk Stephen Crowder tho and Crowder shut the fucking Manlet down right in his midget place. It was glorious

Is anyone really surprised Rogan is a piece of shit?

Joe Rogan Experience #947 - Ron Miscavige

He had on Ron Miscavige, the father of David Miscavige, the chief of the Church of Scientology. Ron had wrote a book exposing all the lies and facade of Scientology, labeling it as what everyone outside of that organization thinks it is, a cult. Ron went on to detail how he had a normal relationship with his son until David rose up through the ranks of the Church, helping them not to have to pay taxes, and at that point how having power corrupted David.

To be fair, he let Ron say everything he wanted to say, and to sell the book he wrote for most of the podcast. But for some reason, Rogan thought that in the last 25 minutes, he should sway the podcast so that he could be in a point in that conversation where he can pass judgement. He surmised and brought up how he felt Ron, being the guy that introduced David to Scientology, was at fault for the whole debacle the Church finds itself in. That issue had to be discussed, but Rogan could've been way better about it than he actually was.

What is worse he turned the podcast into being awkwardly comical towards the end, talking about how good-looking Tom Cruise is, and how he must have been paraded around in a man-operated carriage. He willfully tried to discredit his own guest and what Ron had to say for most of the podcast because he must've thought that Ron was an overbearing dad to his son (but that really was besides the point in the context of having a podcast).

Towards the end, Rogan was going full-retard Napoleonic complex manlet insecure cunty bitch: talking over his own guest, who by the way is 80 years old. Being completely condescending, almost to the point that he could've pinched the guy's cheeks and made baby faces.

Read the comments to know how people, even fans of the show, think of how douchey Rogan can be in his own podcast-- to a guy who took time off his day to be on Rogan's show.

"What. The. Fuck. ROGAN. I love u but u were a piece of shit in this one. wasted opportunity for a really good interview"

"Joe What the hell man? Never seen you be so arrogant and callous....what a fucking douche on this interview. True colors?"

"big fan of joe, but man you were a dick to this old man. disrespectful."

I had a similar reaction to this episode. Especially because he took Leah Rimini seriously, but he isn't gonna take the actual father of the head of the church seriously?!? Only explanation I have is that he was stoned AF and had done something prior to the podcast that left him in a less than serious mood. Such a huge, wasted opportunity.

Lol was that the one when Joe got all triggered that someone dared to question the almighty pots? Lmao potsheads get pretty defensive about that shit

Haven't listened to this one yet, but the one with Eddie was glorious. Wish he would've just roasted him.

It was extra hilarious because the guy is like 6'2" so you know that was getting to Joe too

Why are you guys still listening to Joe Rogan?

I was with Joe tbh, Ron didn't want to take any responsibility for what his son has become.

I'm not sure if you know this. But Joe Rogan is a comedian. He isn't exactly on the hook for having journalistic integrity. He is going to try to be funny most of the time.

That said, I was listening to the one with Lawrence Krauss. Any time they talked about archaic religious beliefs, or witch burnings, it was hilarious how Joe was bringing up all this "evidence" he read about that implied all of those things were the result of people taking hallucinogens or some other drug related explanation. I'm pretty sure he thinks drugs are responsible for everything. I used to know a guy like him. And he was a pot head too. It's weird how they all think the same shit.

Nobody was calling him a journalist and it's not a comedy podcast. He's not doing stand up.

Crowder ''shut him down'' lol? Rogan abused and treated him like a bitch and Crowder took the abuse and never stood up for himself. ''Hold on fuckface''.
