JR. vs Saul Is A Winner Take All Match

Lol whatever you think , go around a sports bar on any given weekend and you won't find one person who knows Andy Lee
Are you 100 percent sure of this ? Any bar ? Willing to bet ?

In the US? Yea I'd bet on that on a non boxing event weekend
You do know that there is a big world not just the EEUU.

And there a a couple of "boxing bars " in San Diego as well as 1 in Vegas that would know who he is .

Just curious do you live near Ohio ?

no i live in the DMV and football/basketball are king here

Isnt the purse just the fee for the boxer to show up? Then outside of that you have PPV sharing between the boxers and then guarantees on the ppv for usually the headline (A-side)? Someone correct me if Im wrong.
If true, its highly unlikely the loser is walking away without a dime.
Just another promo tool.

Bet is off, Chavez Sr. got freaking pissed about it national tv and asked to called it off, Canelo said he will accept out of respect to Chavez Sr. so no more bet.

Ok that explains a lot

DMV is the richest area of the world, per capita.

As a Marylander from Howard County (Richest county in USA per capita), I got all sorts of priv.

So, I assume you are explaining how mr. D1 Wrestler is likely correct in his statements.

Im just wondering how someone can be from all three areas at once (claiming two states and a district?). Pretty broad generalization so you can make that very assessment I guess. For all we know he could be in Coppin Heights, Baltimore.
At least cottagecheese was more specific.

Oh, and being from an affluent area (if true), doesnt mean he's gonna know what he's talking about. I live in San Diego and yes there are a few good "boxing bars" over here.

I sincerely thank you for asking to find out my reasoning

My commment was due to geographic reference and sports popularity . Where you live creates your perception .

Second part , the comment "

My response would be , no he is not accurate

Key words a sports bar and any given weekend

Now , if he had said go to a sports bar in my local DMV area within a 3 mile radius and ask on a non boxing weekend you won't find one person who knows Andy Lee

Then I would take that response as a more thank likely

In short no he is not most likely correct

i was explaining the area i'm from in regards to sports. DMV is also referred to as the DC metro area which includes all of those three states. Anyone who lives in the DMV is likely to hang out in any of those three areas on any given night. The area shares a common interest in athletics which is Redskins #1 by a mile followed by Wizards and then Nats/Caps/Terps. MMA is booming a bit as well, there is a local org Shogun Fights that is growing in popularity and is broadcast on the local Comcast Sports Network and there are lots of up and coming MMA gyms across the state that rep at Shogun. Boxing is very niche and mainly localized to inner city DC and Baltimore. Nobody other than Floyd has ever really generated any buzz around here. Local sports talk will occasionally mention GGG and Alvarez but that's about it. MMA gets much more play than boxing, with almost every card getting at least one segment the week before the event. The only boxing you ever get is commercials for PPV occasionally or Floyd talk.

I live in Montgomery County, MD (home to four of the 10 most diverse cities in the country), work is based out of Howard County, but most of my actual onsite work/Clients is in DC/NoVA. I come across people from all walks of life in all levels of income and living conditions you could imagine in my work.

Had fam in the DC Metro (also loosely referred to as Tri-State) area, its all good.
Appreciate the demographics class though. My point was be more specific. Avoid the confusion.

Just a random thought, I don't speak Spanish but from watching the pressers in their upcoming fight, Canelo and Jr. speak very differently. I looked it up, Jr is from Sinaloa and Canelo is from Guadelajara. They are not that far apart. Canelo talks like most other Mexicans but Chavez sounds like he's Cuban or something.

Dialects do vary in Mexico , I imagine in the EEUU it's the same . Say a Nevada dialect vs one from Idaho a relatively close state varias .

In either case people from Sinaloa Culiacán have a more lyrical way of speaking Spanish

Kind of surprised that this fight hasnt been talked about since the 6th page, March 11th.

Anyways, JR is looking great already, a month and change before the fight.

Wait, he said that any bar in the US won't know who Andy Lee is? LOL. Ok then. Hit up some Boston pubs and ask if they know who he is. Detroit too, in his case. They'll know. Shall we make some calls and record the audio? Let's make some money today. I'm bored bro.

Jesus, jr looks like oscar before the PAC fight, as in a concentration camp detainee.
