I never understood the 'Machida had his number in round one'. Judges had R1 for Jones, and I think most people were just shocked Jones hadn't distroyed him yet so got the impression Machida was winning. Eventually Jones did end him tho, as anticipated.

Yes, I knew Machida would lose his first title defense because he was fighting Shogun. And regardless of what Cecil Peoples said, we all know how that fight panned out. And the second one, of course.

I'd like to see a Machida rematch after Gus gets annihilated as well. JDS/Cain and Wand/Page I & II proved that just because you get smashed the first time around doesn't mean the outcome of the rematch is already predetermined.

Wand won both the first and second fights with Rampage. Rampage got his revenge in the third one.
