How did jones rise the occasion but gsp didn’t? They were both losing but came out and won the last round to win the fight. Since then jones has been busted multiple times for peds while gsp came back and won the belt in a bigger division. I like jones and really dislike Cormier but hating on gsp doesn’t make jones look any better.

You mean after GSP fought 22 times in the Octagon he decided to take some time off? His first fight in the UFC was in 2004, before there was a Sherdog.

You can’t be serious. Jones got beat up way worse by Gus than GSP did by Hendricks. Both fights were extremely close and competitive, but Jones took way more bombs from Gus than GSP did. Johny landed some solid uppercuts in the clinch and GnP, but let’s not pretend GSP was ever in trouble.

Both of those fights only added to those fighters’ legacies. Both of them took a beating from their toughest challenger and came out victorious. Difference is, Jones is a proven cheater and GSP is not.
