Agreed. A win over Hendo means quite little these days.

I agree...Hendo's a legend but nothing from him lately says he has anything for Jones other than spamming right hands.

Hendo is best to be used right now against guys that will have a firefight with him. Let him go up against someone like Thiago Silva.

yea well, if hes looking to impress people, its going to be pretty tough - hes pretty much been ridiculous for 99% of his career - hes good enough to get the 'hes too big for his weidght class' comments and i dont think some people will be impressed with any victory except at HW

he shoud prob just get used to that and defend his title against the most worthy contender, or move up - hes already set a pretty high bar for himself

I have no desire for a jones vs Hendo fight now. Hendo is on a 2 fight losing streak. With his age he'll probably never get a title shot again, unless he starts acting like Sonnen!

Exactly...but I think Hendo will retire soon. He's always (recent memory anyway) been one to look for big money fights and Thiago isn't gonna bring big bucks even tho I think it'd be a great fight.

to be quite honest, Dan Henderson is no longer in the conversation. 2 losses are still 2 losses and hard to market to make a claim for the title. If Dan ever climbs back up, Jones has no say but at the moment, he is not only correct but need not even comment on Henderson.

True, he is slowing down a bit and I don't think he will be a title contender again but can put on awesome fights with sluggers.

I agree with this. Besides, there are hungrier and younger fighters out there who'd be better suited for title fights than Hendo. Although, I don't think Jonny Bones should be saying stuff like that (I haven't read the interview though, so I don't know how out of context this quote was taken).

He may have a better shot at 185. If you think about it, he has wins over top contenders in Belfort and Bisping plus Anderson losing in some way helps erase Hendo getting teeped in the throat by Anderson.

Jones knows, if the h-bomb hits him, he's fucked.
