Jon Jones CSAC Hearing LIVE Broadcast DISCUSSION THREAD

USADA is known for being given lenient with certain financial rewards... I say he walks.

Would be sad if he didn't.

where are these examples of usada being lenient for financial rewards

(and dont cite mayweathers totally non-prohibited iv)

so examples of USADa leniency for cash?

I mean this isn't direct proof of cash, but it's something:

Max Kellerman says it happens:

Then there was the whole fiasco in 2014:

Then there's the fact they're Woking with the NSAC who may as well just change their name to "Cosa Nostra".

Yea I know.

Hes still failed twice under usada and if he gets another shit suspension I really wonder what the point of them is.

the point is suspension, and he got it

how long is suspension in the nfl? 2 weeks?

Kellerman is just regurgitating Hausers peice from 2014

Nothing in Hausers peice stood up to any sort of scrutiny, it was full of multiple inaccuracies and contained zero evidence of usada doing anything untoward at all..

USADa response to the hauser piece, worth reading. it debunks pretty much every allegation he makes

https://www.usada.org/wp-content/up...ection-to-SB-Nation-Article-by-Tom-Hauser.pdf

to that, Hauser basically backtracked on pretty much his entire article and only protested three points (and on all of which he was wrong)

For me it's inevitable that there is corruption where so much money is involved, and without smoking gun evidence then it's all speculation and them debunking.

It's obviously gonna be harder on a case like Bones, but there are so many factors that make USADA shady as hell in how they do their business... For one, you don't see them going into the favelas to check out some of the Brazilians on the undercard do you? They'd die... So there's even a discrepancy on who and how regularly people get tested - not that that is something Bones can use, but it does damage their overall integrity in my opinion.

actually, on average brazilians are tested more often than americans.

(Brazilian fighters have provided 10.30 samples per fighter versus 9.70 samples per fighter for Americans)

Data:

Generally USADA use the anti doping agency of the country in question to do the testing, So UK Anti Doping in Britain, ADLD in France etc, but in Brazil they actually have a dedicated team of a dozen doping control officers, all brazilian nationals, living in brazil but employed by USADA

Good stuff.

And there was me thinking it would be something like this everytime they turned up with their cups of piss.

looks like its time to move fight camp out to China

chinese figures are skewed a bit because they basically hire fighters for asian cards, then let them go again after, so the low average tests per fighter reflects that..

Im betting it's postponed

It's about time Jones was cleared of all wrong doing. Absurd he's been held out this long from an obvious frame job.

Wonder what jones will do next to get in trouble. He fights once a year then gets in some shit.

While this hearing is all fun and nice its largely irrelevant.

the hearing or decision that matters is the one from USADA.

CSAC will just be Jones team harping on about lie detector tests and California giving him 6 months.

I fully expect CSAC to say how well he came across in the hearing, how they think it was accidental and give him 6-12 months max.

Then Malki and co will shout from the rooftops that California found him innocent and he only got x months for being careless..

Then in a few months when USADa give him 2-4 years they will just say USADA suck, all the Jones fans will hang on the CSAC decision as proof of innocence
