Have they come back from lunch yet? My feed has been static for 3 days?
Anyone know when the USADA punishment will be handed down?
i respect your commitment to this
Short answer: No
Long answer: It depends. Jones could just accept whatever suspension USADA offers him (anything less than 4 year he should gladly accept) in which case we should know within a couple of week. If Jones does the dumb thing, and when has Jones not, he'll ask for arbitration like he did last time which will slow the process down. If it goes to arbitration then USADA will likely want a few weeks to put together more information for their side of the case (time to interview people, etc.).
Since so many of the facts are undisputed (Jones had ingested turinabol, it was found in his sample and this was verified in his B sample under the watch of Jones' people, Jones had 17 supplements tested for contamination and all were clean, Jones was once again "reckless", Jones lied multiple times on the Doping Control Forms, Jones lied about taking the required tutorials and says his manager forged his signature, etc., etc.) USADA doesn't need much time to render a sanction, however Jones has the right to have his case heard by an arbitration panel. I don't think that option is in his best interest though since it's a potentially Mitigating Circumstance to not fight.
Jones' team wanted CSAC to go first to get their lite sanction and then use that to try to convince USADA he's already being punished enough. That didn't work because CSAC knew that USADA will hand out a longer suspension and thus they're letting them do that, while still maintaining ultimate control of when Jones might be able to fight again. Also we found that Jones spent 6 months coming up with zero defense and that he did zero prep for the CSAC hearing. We also found out that Malki is the enabler and scumbag that he's known for. Finally, the CSAC actually made things much worse for Jones than if he'd never spoke or if he'd dealt with USADA first.
I'm guessing we'll know in the next 4-6 weeks. I'm sure Malki and Jones will steer the announcement of his sanction to be less "newsworthy" as possible, so probably hope to have it announced April 5-6 right before the Ferg-Khabib fight, or better yet, try to do it prior to that when Conor announces he's vacating the LW belt to fight GSP.
Cleaning up the sport has also ruined it. Guys who test positive for estrogen blockers should not get punished. Its not a roid. Yes you probably only take it after you did something but its not an elevated test level and that should he the only concern. Who the hell.cares what they took in training, if their test levels are in the "normal" range and there isn't any roid in their system.on fight night then that should be the litmus.
Well it isn’t looking that good for Jon Jones right now.
Aren't the estrogen blockers being taken to disguise the taking of steroids? If you don't punish guys who are caught masking steroid use, why bother testing at all?
The only legit reason for Jones to take letrozole and clomifene would be to help him ovulate while recovering from breast cancer.
If anyone thinks Jon Jones is even remotely innocent at this point and think someone else is to blame for all these failed tests, you need to check yourself in to a psyche ward.
This sociopath never fails to amaze me with the shit he can get away with.
I'm saying that i don't care what an mma fighter takes while training. If their test/harmone levels are in the average range on fight night, that's all that counts. It isn't an advantage if a guy is juiced during training. They take shit to recover from.getting the shit beat out of them 2x a day for an 8 week camp. If they stop a few weeks out from the fight and levels are average, who is any danger from.that other than the person who took the substances? So when they test guys 4 weeks out and then on fight night they cancel a fight due to a hot test, its total bullshit to me.
Er.......the advantages of taking steroids persist for quite a bit after a person has stopped administering them.
It takes 3-4 weeks for test cyp/test enth to kick in after first injection. So an injection 4 weeks ago will still benefit someone.
DNA testing has ruined serial killing. So what if their shoes had traces of blood, their hands were clean when we interviewed them and that should be the litmus test.
I realise you're just trolling now, but for everyone else:
Steroids can benefit athletes for a decade after use
Old vid but pretty informative so sharing:
No, they have not. Jones not training hard was just a myth started by Jones and his bitter fans after the Gus fight.
Even Vegas wants in on that JBJ money
