Jon Jones building strength with Earthshaking Deadlift

Yeah, because an athlete that clears millions per fight isn't going to have someone to handle their PCT.

Also yeah, once you roid you get limp dick 100% every time. All professional athletes are sterile yo.

Nah, just the ones that need limp dick pills for their limp dick.

Never seen a grown man thats not gay, a doctor, a male enhancement company stake owner, or a pornographer/nude photographer care so much about another man's dick rigidity. Do you though.

It don't count if you have to put the weight on a platform.

Here's what a real deadlift looks like.

Man all respect to anyone who lifts heavy's achievements put I find the whole powerlifting culture so offputting, all the shaved heads, screaming, metal music, full sleeve tats and that.

Can anyone knowledgeably assess how common it is to lift that weight without juicing?

Very common. I'm a middle-aged doughy IT sysadmin and I can deadlift 565 from the floor. Never touched a drug in my life. I just look like a regular chubby dude. Any reasonable age, average sized, injury-free male can deadlift over 400 within a year, IMO, just for comparison. 545 off of blocks is achievable for just about any average dude with a few years of training. I think I hit 545 after 3 years of training (from the floor mind you, doing partials from blocks is much easier than pulling from the floor).

Young, 230lb genetic freak? And only pulling 545 from blocks? That's honestly not impressive at all. Especially when he has tested hot and clearly at least has used anabolics, if not currently using them now. He's also done 600lbs before with a sumo deadlift from the floor, probably on more drugs back then (or just more powerlifting training....or both):

Dope

That's some superhuman, unnatural strength for a skinny guy. Wonder how he does it? None of the weaknesses of being lanky and thin, but all of the strengths.

Isnt it funny how Jones Anthony Johnson and Cormier are all most likely headed to Heavyweight at around the same time

How about dreads and rap music ?

Its 100% not common, unless you go to a hardcore powerlifting gym you wont see ppl pulling 500+ at your regular gym. You get maybe a few people in your average gym that could pull that.

i work out with 495 and im a 170 loland i still am 50 away from my goal tbh most ufc 155ers average 500 so yeah thats not impressive at all for the type of athlete he is lol
Source where most LW pull 500? Unless its the trap bar which I can believe, but conventional or sumo no way. In fact I bet Conor or Nate can't pull anything more than 350

And here you are defending a man's limp dick.

You might be able to make that argument if youre a professional weight lifter but outside that, no. You never need to be lifting that much weight. Totally unnecessary. Especially for a fighter. And especially a fighter whose style isnt even a strength based style. That vid was made 100% just to say look how strong and what a badass I am. I saw people critiquing his form too saying it was bad. Great way to hurt yourself for nothing. Who gives a fuck how much weight you can pull? Means jack shit.
You've made a lot of assumptions there, most of which aren't true.

Dead lifting and oly lifting heavy weight is absolutely good for wrestling. Jones is a wrestler, even if he strayed away from his base, and moving heavy weight with large, compound lifts is fantastic for building core wrestling strength. Maybe not so much for bench press, but squatting, DLing, snatching and doing clean and jerks is functionally very good training when you're throwing other people to the ground/lifting them in the air for a living.

That's not in juicing territory. Which doesn't mean he isn't, but that's a very average amount of weight to lift for someone of his weight.

His build obviously doesn't favor powerlifting, though.

Jon Jones is like the epitome of life isn’t fair. This guy is the best fighter on the planet and can pull 500+ while doing coke and just not even giving a fuck about any of it. God bless you Jon Jones, keep doing your thing man.

Don't know why he still rolls with Team GAT unless it is for a paycheck.
All their products are shit and underdoesed and over priced.
