Jon Jones brother has 86 inch reach! is 1 inch taller, weighs 45lbs more, and is more explosive!

Is this the guy who overdosed?

Doubt it would ever happen until his playing days are over. But would be crazy just to see what he has to offer. 50% of Jonny's skills might win him a fight or two.

FUTURE GOAT! lol

Jones is like 217lbs when in the cage. Probably gets to 225 or 230lbs when not training.

When not training, jones has admitted to weighing as much as 247lbs.

Ah.... the old NFL guy in the UFC trick...

Missed it by that much....

jones said chandler isnt good at MMA

he said his older brother arthur would already destroy most UFC heavyweights though

chandler didnt stick through wrestling in high school but arthur is a 2 time state champ and supposedly still outwrestles jon

Wassup with that tape on their shirts? More UFC Nazi control?

McGregor's going to make more than that in one night. Build your name and the sky is the limit.

Are you serious or trolling? You'd have to be a complete idiot to pick MMA over the NFL. There's a reason why you see guys who couldn't make it in the NFL try out MMA and not the other way around, NFL pays way more.

Conor was on welfare when he was starting his career as a fighter. NFL minimum salary is $465k for 2017.

Look at how much all of the other champs get in disclosed pay per fight. Conor is an outlier not the norm. They also don't get paid if they get injured and can't fight.

Size and athleticism does matter. I said the same thing about Semmy Schilt and people laughed. The guy is a striking killer in kickboxing and the arguable HW Goat kickboxer (him or Aerts is). And he is 7'0ft tall, 300lbs, and has 88 to 89 inch reach.

Problem is he could never make 265lb limit.

Semmy didn't start weighing 300 lbs until late in his career. I mean he fought in the UFC at heavyweight with the 265 limit. He was a good MMA fighter but was a nearly unstoppable kickboxer. That's why he quit MMA for kickboxing.

Yep. The ability to take a punch is one of the most underrated talents in MMA. And I'm not talking about an iron chin.

No mental strength is.

Taking a punch is a mental thing and not being afraid to get hit or being able to survive and continue fighting when you are losing/getting your ass kicked is a mental thing as well. Chin is a physical thing but there have been fighters with good Chin's who are mentally weak (Brock Lesnar or Frank Mir). Mir has a good chin since he has only been K.O. 2x, the rest of the times were TKO's that resulted from him giving up.

He can be better athletically, yet could get whooped by cans if he just cant stomach taking a punch.

No all are born to fight, most are not. No matter the athletic gifts many just cant handle fighting.
Brock and Ronda proved that you can be UFC champ even if you can't take a punch

I think Chandler is doing just fine making 20x what his brother does while banging NFL cheerleaders and still getting to attend the biggest UFC events front row at his own leisure

no reason to get broken jaw, cauliflower ears, ring worms, staph infections, less pay, getting knocked out on live TV, and everything else that comes with MMA

The same Jones who was a community college wrestler and beat strikers and grapplers who had a decade of experience like Cormier.

That's right.

The guy Jon Jones that trained technique for years and uses an all around game to defeat specialists.

A lot of people for whatever reason do not want to admit that athleticism matters so much in combat sports. Jon Jones would not be where he is if he was not explosive, did not have his height, genetics and reach.

I never said it didn't matter.

Jon Jones has admitted his brothers can still beat him up even though they are untrained in MMA. I think lot of those super athletic and explosive linemen would be able to take Jon down and mount him just due to their huge advantage in athleticism and size.
