Jon Jones brother has 86 inch reach! is 1 inch taller, weighs 45lbs more, and is more explosive!

The Jones brothers are sketchy.

1 of Jon Jones
1 walks into a police station high AF.
1 does PEDs playing in the NFL

Damn with that sort of reach he can hand his 2500 Reebok check to the bank teller faster.
thank you for this post. the world is a little better now.

He can be better athletically, yet could get whooped by cans if he just cant stomach taking a punch.

No all are born to fight, most are not. No matter the athletic gifts many just cant handle fighting.

Anthony Johnson was one of those guys, according to himself, and look what the accomplished.

Size and athleticism does matter. I said the same thing about Semmy Schilt and people laughed. The guy is a striking killer in kickboxing and the arguable HW Goat kickboxer (him or Aerts is). And he is 7'0ft tall, 300lbs, and has 88 to 89 inch reach.

Problem is he could never make 265lb limit.

Great kickboxer but only problem with Semmy is he was not the greatest grappler.

How much did he weigh when he fought Fedor and Nog?

Who cares about 6'8, 250 basketballer lebron. Brock is 290+ at 6'2.5 with wrestlin'. Lebron gets ragdolled by that.

15m+ per year to pass a ball around or career change to 100/100 and bonus free brain damage, I know which I'd rather take.

Unless you're a trained fighter, you won't do well in the UFC.

Maybe in some garbage leagues, but the UFC has some pretty good fighters.

CM Punk, Cindy Dandois, Michael Jackson...some real killers out there.

Yea if he ever decides that he wants to make way less money.
If you can sell fights, you can make equal to more money. You could fight twice a year like Brock Lesnar and make $6m per fight. And because you're making it in Nevada... no state income tax!

Exactly this. Jones isn't great, just because hes so athlwticaly gifted, but because he a tually does have a fighters spirit, and can stand up to some crazy shots.

Not only that, but some people can't even get past the flinch while getting hit stages of learning how to fight. Or the ability to watch the punches and strikes come at you, in real time. Thats takes a special kind of crazy to be able to stand in a locked cage with another man that wants to hurt you, badly.

Chandler is making around $15.5 million a year right now. And that's just his NFL contract. Endorsements are probably another couple of million. He could shit it up the next couple of years and still be making that. Dude is going to make around 100 million or more by the time his career is over, and he's not the best player in the league. If Jon or Conor make over 100 million, they will be the first fighters to do so, and the first to even come anywheres near that. NFL is the way to go, if that is an option for you.

Chandler signed a 5 year $83 million contract with $53 million guaranteed. So even if he got injured, he's still guaranteed over $10 million a year over those 5 years. You think UFC pays the champs that much? Lol.

And with USADA he'd probably be suspended for going to the hospital after smoking synthetic weed.

McGregor's going to make more than that in one night. Build your name and the sky is the limit.

UFC average pay is still FAR lower than NFL pay, but given the example set by Conor, I can imagine UFC pay going to crazy heights for champs and top guys.

And not all fighters could handle the physicality of pro football.
