Not his fault per say but a good start would be to stop naming their sons John. I'm pretty sure Gotti's daughter's kids go by Gotti too; and they're the kids of another gangster too.

They're not responsible for their family history but if they keep embracing it, it's a little hard to believe they're embarrassed about it.
