My best friend says that all the time. I struggle with the logic of it.
I’m not saying marijuana is bad, that’s not my point. But where does one draw the line with the experience argument? What good does experience give us?
If I teach someone at 17 that alcohol presents very little to no tangible benefits but has a large list of downsides. Why would getting drunk change the facts in their head?
Because you cant teach someone anything just by telling them how you feel.
And telling that alcohol has no benefits and a large list of downsides would also be wrong, since it all also depends on how you use it. If i stick a fork in my eye, that doesnt mean i can "teach" someone that forks are dangerous.
Alcohol has benefits for some people, and can ruin other peoples lives. Same as marijuana, gambling, sports, or anything else in the world really. It depends in what moderation you are doing things in your life.
