Joe Rogan on the GOAT - It's Anderson or Fedor

Isn't he too sick to fight? What are the news on that?

Your reasoning for dismissing a man as the best ever or one of the best ever simply because you don’t like his fighting style is a ridiculously uneducated opinion. Floyd Mayweather is regarded as one of the pound for pound greats ever in boxing. Not a lot of knockouts on his resume. Especially later in his career. One decision after another. It’s about your resume. Not just the way in which you fought..

Classic grammar nitpicker.Even though my grammar is not perfect but I don’t say stupid shit like “randleman is better than Fitch” “arlovski is a better win that prime bj penn”
No, you just say stupid shit like "Fitch was a 10x better striker than Randleman."

<{MingNope}>

1a. Fedor
1b. GSP
3. Jon Jones *
4. Anderson Silva *
5 and after it gets very crowded, a lot of great fighters have legit arguments for top 5 consideration while several more are well on their way

Asterisks imply having been popped for PEDs.

All you guys ever do is regurgitate the same baseless opinions. Your opinions do not equal facts. Here are the FACTS:

Highest paid NFL player: Peyton Manning, small pay lead over 2nd/3rd places, in GOAT conversation.
Highest paid golfer: Tiger Woods, huge lead over second place, undiputed GOAT
Highest paid basketball player (adjusted for inflation): MJ, GOAT
Highest paid boxer: Mayweather Jr., disputed GOAT
Highest paid tennis player: pretty much a tie between Federer and Djokovic, both in GOAT talk
Highest paid MMA fighter BY FAR: Conor McGregor, GOAT

The FACT is there is a perfect correlation between highest pay and GOAThood in all of pro sports.

But you're thinking about it in terms of populatry , if this is the case why the fuck did Joe Louis ( to according to many Boxing pundits as the greatest heavyweight in history ) end up dying broke and needing to greet people in casinos ?

The reason he's getting paid a fortune is because he's admittedly a intelligent businessman , got the gift of the gab , and is good enough to warrant people to pay alot of money to see him fight , it's like Brock Lesnar , good and capable fighter , but was never the top fighter even in his prime.

Then he wouldn't be the GOAT, because lack of market = lack of talent pool = lack of competition. Any difference in pay can otherwise be compared directly and fairly by adjusting for inflation.

Lack of market means lack of an audience willing to pay to consume the sport, not a lack of talent pool.

Wait....what happened to the "logical fallacy"? Suddenly it's not a "logical fallacy"...it depends on what you say? How does it work.

Also, you lied and never backed it up or retracted. That's a lot worse than a "fallacy". It's just wrong.

I guess you are too fucking stupid to understand the concept of this particular fallacy?

Look here is an even more recent video of Rogan contradicting himself and claiming that GSP "is one of the greatest if not the greatest of all time". Still think he is infallible kid?

There are fighters and trainers who know even more than Rogan, guys with ACTUAL experience, and some of them think that GSP is GOAT. So what about them? Why don't you appeal to their authority, but you do some burnt out old man who has popped too much Alpha Brain?

You are getting destroyed as usual kid, go outside and get some fresh air.

"Yeah...No" is not an argument.

Looks like you're at a complete loss for words now I've put your ass in its place with FACTS. Like I said, I'll wait for you to provide me with another name in pro sports...an athlete like Conor who's by far the highest paid yet not at least in GOAT talk. I'll wait.

Tiger Woods when he is was the highest paid, the current highest paid NHL player and the previous 20 before him, the current highest paid NBA player and the 20 before him, the current highest paid NFL player and the 5 or so before him.

Why didn't you include the fact that that video is from January 2017?

Cause that makes a big difference.

This is the same guy who put Ronda as ultimate pinnacle that a mma fighter could ever dream of.

Joe Rogan's opinion on anything is worthless, but I partially agree.
It's Fedor or Jon Jones for me.

It's MMA. It's about finishes. Listen to the Rogan argument, which is the topic of the thread.

Your personal fav is not the topic of the thread.

Also: when will he be healthy enough to fight? When the WW belt is in Neil Magny's hands?

No, you are making a fool of yourself. You already dodged the initial claims you made, and never backed up your lies.

Conor is by far the highest paid fighter in the history of MMA.

Name me another pro athlete who is by far the highest paid in his or her sport who is not considered undisputed or at the very least, arguable GOAT.

Michael Jordan is not even one of the top 25 highest paid NBA athletes of all time. Kevin Garnett is #1, and you won't find too many people arguing for Kevin's GOAT status.

Why is it about finishes exactly? You made that random statement without any context? Explain that to me? And he did finish plenty.. Just finished his last one. He had a big string of decisions. Just like Floyd. He went long stretches without ever losing a Round.. Basically his entire championship run. You hate without context. Just hate.

Based on your username and sig, it seems to be about something else....
