His latest TKO loss to Clay Guida calls into question whether he’s done or still got it.

Lauzon has always been a smart and honest guy. In a recent interview he just says he got caught clean and that he’s still got it. I’m inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt, however, he taken in a lot of damage over the years and his gas tank doesn’t ever seem to improve.

    What do you think?

He's been through some wars but can definitely still bring it. Should just keep fighting guys with similar mileage and not these young killers looking to make a name off him.

I hope he retires soon. He's a finish first fighter and has taken a lot of damage in career. After the wars he's been in he's starting to slow down. I'll always be a fan but I think it might be time for him to hang em up. He's got a great gym and a family now

I know he has a fight scheduled and win or lose lets him face someone like Ross Pearson and both call it a career.

If he doesn't beat this Grutzenbacher can, then yes, he's done.

Forget about a Guida loss - he just got technically submitted by a sorority chick. I think it's over. Meaning time to sign with Bellator (pretty sure he's too Just Bleed for WSOF)

His skills have weirdly regressed in a way, and I say that as a Lauzon fan. He's too content to sit behind a high "guard" and take blows, and he's gradually become more of an opportunist than actively creating openings, especially striking, taking punishment all the while.

It's not that he's bad, he's never been on even a 3-loss streak his ENTIRE career. He just takes so much damage in his losses, and he has so much mileage.

    War Lauzon tho
EDIT: Thread needs more Lauzon gifs...
