Of course we all know Goldberg and Rogan will always forever be #1, but I think Jimmy Smith and Joe Rogan would work out very well.

They both do the same role, color commentary. You need a play by play guy in there to read all the ads and other dumb shit, which is what Anik/Goldie's job is. I like the idea of a 3 man booth, a pbp guy, Rogan on color, and an ex fighter (DC).

If you had just Rogan and Jimmy together it would be two people doing the same thing.

Both of these guys are colour commentators.

I remember ten years (or so) ago when some fans likewise wanted Rogan and Rutten on commentary with no Goldberg. You need a PBP guy to organize the whole structure of sports commentary.

Anyone remember the UFC where Rogan actually did play by play? I think Phil Baroni did "color". Lol, I just remember it being a train wreck commentary wise.
