Former WBA junior middleweight champion Austin ‘No Doubt’ Trout (31-4, 17 KOs) is being mentioned as the possible next opponent for WBC 154 lb. champion Jermell Charlo (30-0, 15 KOs) on June 9 when he fights in the co-feature bout on the featherweight contenders between Leo Santa Cruz and Abner Mares rematch on Showtime Boxing at the Staples Center in Los Angles, California.

Charlo will face the winner of lara vs Hurd to unify titles if he beats the veteran Trout. He should be a huge favorite

Big " Drama Show " for Trout !! This will be a big win for him if he can pull it off. This is like the high stakes ( career wise ) Fotch vs Donaire fight. Trout needs this win big time like Donaire did. Donaire couldn't pull it off though.

I really admire Austin, but he’s got a few too many miles on the odometer to beat Jermell, I think.
