And his KO of Cain was all skill amirite?
JDS was a bad mo-fo back in the day, But Stipe is THAT guy now.
Stipe said he spent his whole camp training for that punch. I like JDS a lot but he sounds a bit sour.
JDS kicks were doing work, fucked up Stipes shin bad and had him limping but Junior will always have that weakness of getting backed up against the cage and cut off and its clear Stipes team gameplanned for that finish when they got him to that position this time as opposed to the grind out style they went for in 1st fight
Oh no. Someone please retire this JDS.
He's probably gonna have an excuse ready when Francis knocks him to the moon as well
JDS looked scared in there.
Is that really jds account?
Edit: lmao yea it is and he is suffering from brain damage.
I hate the expression "lucky punch".
Was JDS KO shot of Cain Velasquez lucky? (No. He intended to land a big punch and did. Just like Stipe Miocic intended to KO JDS, and did so. No luck about it.)
Luck is a fluke injury to an opponent
A professional fighter connecting in a fight is skill
JDS was extremely humble in the post-fight interview. This is probably him just acting tough online to build interest in another possible title shot.
I'm a JDS fan but Stipe was on a 4 win KO streak before he fought him and against top guys too. Unless Stipe is shitting horse shoes or he's just that good. He lost to a formidable opponent so she shouldn't be too sour about it.
Even if he feels that way it's such a dumb thing to say.
It is crazy how much those Cain fights took out of him. It's like they put a decade of fight miles on him in two fights.
He needs to get his mind of Stipe, because for sure he has more immediate problems to face.
He was running away from Stipe until he got clipped
TLDR: the definition of "not due to luck".
